Trump vs Harris: Christian Leaders Respond to Presidential Debate
The Donald Trump vs Kamala Harris presidential debate on Tuesday night (9/10) hosted by ABC drew an almost immediate response from Christian leaders who posted on social media sites such as Elon Musk’s X.

After watching the debate, digital evangelist and social media influencer Malachi O’brien called out professing Christians who may consider voting for Harris.
“After what I have heard tonight from #Kamala during the #debate I want to make a clear & bold statement. You cannot. I repeat you cannot be a Spirit filled, Bible Believing Christan and vote for #Kamala under the leadership of the Spirit. You can not. Period.” Obrien posted on X.

Lee University professor Jason Robinson pointed out Harris’ apparent neglect for hard facts on the current economic situation.
“Kamala has obviously not been buying her own groceries or paying for her own gas the past 3 1/2 years,” Robinson stated.

Evangelist Tony Suarez waded through the debate weeds to give this perspective:
“If you can get past the insults and nonsense of tonight, Trump’s closing remarks paint the REAL picture of where we are at. If Kamala has so many answers and solutions to the historic issues plaguing our nation why hasn’t she done anything for the last 3 1/2 years?”

Turning Point USA founder and CEO Charlie Kirk pointed out the gross imbalace that ABC spinned during the debate. Kirk called the event a “drive-by debate.”
“Every question the moderators ask him is ‘can you defend _____?’ Every question they ask her is ‘how do you feel about ______?’” he stated and added, “Drive by debate.”

Ultimately, debates like this reflect more than just personality or oratory differences; if you can read between the lines, they reveal the clash of worldviews which shape the future of a nation. As voters, we must discern policies and leadership through a biblical lens, aligning our choices with a worldview rooted in biblical truth, not political personalities.
Final thought: The war in the Middle East, particularly between Israel and Iran (let’s call it what it is), could very well spark a greater global conflict at literally any moment. I’m not being an alarmist, just a biblical realist. The question we must ask is this: Do we want an unpolished bull in the Oval Office during that time, or a deceptive snake?
